Since 1970, Positive Maturity, Inc., a non-profit agency, has served growing numbers of older adults in Jefferson and surrounding counties in a broad range of services using human resources in volunteer and reimbursement activities to enrichen quality of life.

RSVP, our largest group provides unpaid volunteers who serve in hospitals, libraries, senior gardens, and work with children of prison inmates. Learn More

AWARE offers free employment assistance service for job seekers 50 years and older. Learn More

Senior Companion Program provides a small stipend for 60 and older companions, who volunteer 4 hours a day, five days a week. They provide homebound seniors personal care, grooming, and meal preparation. Learn More

Western Area Senior Center/CAMP offers elderly seniors professional adult day care and other seniors recreational activities and informational programs. Learn More

Foster Grandparents provides volunteers who serve 20 hours a week as a surrogate grandparent for children in many settings - public schools, Family Court, Headstart, Cerebral Palsy and other support settings. Learn More
